Hello folks!
It's been a while since I established this blog, with not much in the way of progress. I think it's high time I gave this little side project of mine a bit of a kick-start!
Just today a couple of sets of figures arrived that I ordered especially for this project, the Saljuq Emirs Court from Perry Miniatures Crusades range, and four Sikh Army: Infantry Marching in ''Paag'' from Studio Miniatures Sikh War range. Two of the figures from the former (Perry) pack will become the physical representations of Mahmud I and his rival, Sikander Quli. The figures from the last (Studio Miniatures) pack are dated far past the nominal 1720s setting of Pashmaristan, but they fit the place and I can shoehorn them in as European-trained members of Mahmud's bodyguard/army.
Since everyone loves to paint new things (and since I'm no exception), expect to see some progress here soon! Thanks for looking!
